Architecture Project

New-build single-family house located in Alcabideche.
This house is part of a subdivision with predefined urban planning parameters, to which the project responds in a rigorous and integrated manner.
Developed over three levels — basement, ground floor, and upper floor — the dwelling is organised according to a clear functional logic. The ground floor is conceived as a fluid and continuous space, where the social area unfolds in an open-plan layout, establishing a direct relationship with the garden and promoting indoor–outdoor living.
On the upper floor, three bedrooms are arranged, including a suite, with the remaining spaces supported by bespoke carpentry solutions that enhance functionality and reinforce the unity of the design.
The basement accommodates the technical areas, including laundry and wine cellar, ensuring an efficient separation between service and living areas.
The materiality of the project prioritises the use of natural materials, such as wood, stone, and lime-based finishes, seeking a harmonious integration with the surrounding context and a timeless architectural language.
