Rehabilitation of an existing building for Rural Tourism, located in Burgau.
The rural tourism project is developed on a plot of approximately 5 hectares, where several dispersed buildings are situated. The intervention aims to rehabilitate these structures, transforming them into a tourist accommodation complex classified as a Country House.
The programme includes six accommodation units, five arranged as suites and one as a one-bedroom unit (T1), designed to provide comfort and autonomy for guests. The proposal enhances the identity of the site and respects the original layout of the buildings, ensuring that each intervention complies with legal requirements and the constraints imposed by the surrounding context.
The project prioritises the preservation of the rural character and harmonious integration with the natural setting, ensuring that the visitor’s experience is closely connected to the landscape and the history of the place. The rehabilitation results in a contemporary and functional interpretation, while preserving the memory of the site and reinforcing its authenticity.
