Extension Project with Façade Preservation

Rehabilitation of an existing house in an advanced state of decay. The intervention aimed to extend the existing dwelling to accommodate a programme compatible with a three-bedroom typology (V3). All façade elements, as well as the cornice and ridge alignments, were preserved unchanged.
The programme is distributed over three floors. On the entrance level, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom are arranged. The social area occupies the lower semi-basement floor, configured as an open space to take advantage of natural light introduced through the façade openings. The upper floor, utilising the roof void, contains a master suite and an accompanying closet.
